Sale and CHA Ordering

I just got back from my annual retreat.  All the Altered Angel employees were there and I must say it was fantastic. I look forward to it all year long, and I love it.  Thank you ladies for a wonderful time.

Check back often because we will start getting shipments at least once a week.  Today we got in a super cute iphone stamp from Hero and the new Hero Arts Neon Spray Inks.  It is a new line of vibrant water-based sprays! Each 1 oz. spray bottle contains water-based dye ink which is acid-free, archival and fade resistant. Great for giving backgrounds extra color and for using with stencils. 

Note:  We will no longer be open until 7 on Thursdays.  Our new close time for Thursday is 4 pm.  This schedule change is effective this week.

CHA Order Wrap Up

We had a wonderful day at the store Thursday with CHA shopping and lunch.  Thank you to all my customers that came out (some in the pouring rain) and spent the afternoon with us.  And a BIG thank you to my Collins Group rep, Sabrina Somerby, for bringing all of her samples and catalogs from CHA.

CHA Sale and Special January Hours

As many of you know, CHA is this week (January 11-15). It is the trade show where all the new scrappy goodness debuts. And when orders are placed for the next 6 months. So it's time to clear out the store and make room for new merchandise. To make room for all the orders I'll be placing, the Deal of the Week is 30% off the entire store!!! So come on in and load up.

I'm not attending CHA in Los Angeles but I will be placing all my orders as usual. I'll be attending my own virtual CHA next Tuesday. So the store will be closed all day on Tuesday, January 15. More New Brands and Open Late Thursday

I have two more new brands for the store.  I just completed the orders yesterday and I'm very excited.  Drumroll please .... The two new brands at AA are Lilly Bee Designs and Elle's Studio.  Lilly Bee is not scheduled to ship until the end of August and Elle's Studio should ship mid August, which is right around the corner. Stay tuned.  I will post on Facebook as the orders come into the store. 

And we will be opening late tomorrow on Thursday, August 2.  The store will open at noon and remain open until our normal closing time at five.  So this Thursday only, open 12-5.

 

CHA Summer Ordering Wrap Up

Hi Crafting Fans!  I wanted to let y'all know what I ordered during CHA.  I always want to find some new companies for the store.  And I did.  I love to keep the merchandise fresh and interesting.  Here's a quick rundown:

October Afternoon at CHA

I’m sure many of you have been reading various blogs about the new CHA releases.  One trend I noticed at CHA was the implementation of Smash Book like products.  There were quite a few companies that took the Smash Book concept and improved on it.  I love this new twist on scrapbooking.  Many companies and scrapbookers (like myself) are getting away from doing standard 12”x12” pages.  These books offer the perfect opportunity to “get off the page.”

Today’s post will feature the new mini book product from October Afternoon called Here & Now Mini Books.  It really is as easy as 1,2,3. 

1. Start with a “Here & Now” Mini Book.  Three styles are available.  Each book allows for the maximum in customization.  Included are die-cut heavy chipboard covers, metal rings and 9 double sided filler pages.
2. Add sections. October Afternoon offers themed Chapters with each new scrapbooking line.  Each chapter includes four divider tabs, 9 double sided pattern pages and 2 die cut pattern pages.
3. Embellish.  With OA Doo Dads and Tidbits.  The die cut paper Doo Dads (shapes) and Tidbits (labels and tabs) are quick and easy creative additions to the Here & Now books.

October Afternoon is known for its Vintage Clean style.  Their lines capture current trends while retaining a timeless, classic feel.  And over 90% of their products are made in the USA.  I just love their design and I’m looking forward to carrying two of OA’s new lines, 9 to 5 and Woodland Park.  The first line, 9 to 5, ships in March and Woodland Park ships in May.  I ordered the complete collections including the fabulous Sprinklers Spray Inks.  I can’t wait to get started on my own Here & Now book.  What about you?
