As some of you might know, it has been almost one year since Altered Angel Scrapbooks opened its doors for business. I would like to thank all of you for supporting your local independent scrapbook store. It has been an exciting year meeting and helping all of you in your creative needs.
Altered Angel is a small boutique scrapbook and altered art/mixed media store. After a year in business I have had to evaluate some of the store policies and will need to make some adjustments. I am going to implement a weekly special in the store, a Deal of the Week. And I am also working towards obtaining software for the store which will allow us to offer a customer rewards program with coupons similar to the one in place at Archiver’s.
However, I am no longer going to be able to accept competitors’ coupons as I cannot compete with the large chain stores. Unfortunately, I operate on a much lower margin than the chain stores.
I will continue to offer specials which will be announced through email, the blog and Facebook such as Black Friday/Small Business Saturday sales, inventory clearance sales and the new Deal of the Week.
I appreciate your understanding in this change of policy and look forward to bringing you the new and exciting items that this industry has to offer for your scrapbooking and altered art needs.
Our first Deal of the Week is on ink pads. Any and every INK PAD is 30% off this week. The Deal of the Week runs from Thursday (February 16) through Wednesday (February 22). A new deal will be announced on the blog, AlteredAngel.typepad.com, and on Facebook every week.
I am also working on several exciting new classes for the store featuring Tim Holtz Distress Markers, Graphic 45 Little Darlings and Dylusions Spray Inks. So be on the lookout for the for the new schedule.
